I'm trying to install MT4 platform of different brokers and I faced a problem during installation.
Oct 09, 2017 MetaTrader 4 (more commonly known as MT4) is easily the most popular forex trading software out there although the most recent version is MT5. However the big problem for Mac users is that there’s no version of MT4 for Mac and since macOS Catalina there’s no way to install it easily on a Mac due to new limitations imposed by Apple in macOS. The only way to physically download and install MT4 or MT5 on a Mac is to install Windows in macOS first and then run the PC version of MetaTrader. Many brokers recommend using the PlayonMac Windows emulator but due to recent updates in macOS Catalina, PlayonMac no longer allows you to install 32 bit applications like MT4 on a Mac. I just installed metatrader 4 of some brokers without any problem but for some others at the final stage of the installation a window popup and requires me to enter the proxy server options, as shown in the image below:
I searched about the issue and there were some solutions regarding the matter such as turning of the anti virus or turning off the firewall and etc. I'v implemented all mentioned solutions without any success. So I'd appreciate if anybody could guide me on how to solve the problem.Hugosway Mt4 Download For Mac

However, since MT4 and MT5 are Windows applications and since you have admitted that you are not computer savvy, I wouldn't recommend running MT4 on Mac OS. But it is your choice. If you absolutely want to use MT4 on your Mac, I would recommend installing a virtual Windows machine.
